What we have to offer here at JGs, is a relaxed bar where you can have a quiet drink with your friends, a rousing party plus great lunchtime home cooked local food.

Where we are?

JG’s (John Gandy’s) can be found along a narrow, cobbled and enchanting Gandy Street, located just off the High Street in the heart of historic Exeter City Centre. Gandy Street is compelling and intriguing - an excellent place to spend some time, either shopping in trendy designer boutiques, visiting curious craft and gift shops, or relaxing with us at JG’s! Step inside and you’ll receive a warm welcome.

The bar is split into two levels with a main bar and restaurant area downstairs and a galleried cocktail bar on the first floor.  Oh, and did we mention the sexiest toilets!
